Docket No. 26-SPPE-01 · California Energy Commission · Takes about 10–15 minutes
Make your voice heard
This tool walks you through writing a personalized comment letter to the California Energy Commission opposing the Small Power Plant Exemption for the RB Inyokern Data Center.
You'll be asked to:
Enter your name and contact information.
Choose which concerns matter most to you.
Optionally add your own experiences (you can skip any of these).
Get a finished letter and comment title you can copy, download, or email.
Nothing you type is sent anywhere or stored online — everything stays in your browser. The letter is complete and effective even if you skip every personalization prompt.
Step 1 · Your information
This appears at the top and bottom of your letter. The Commission gives more weight to letters from named community members.
Step 2 · Choose your concerns
All concerns are selected by default. Uncheck any you don't want to include. The opening, the formal requests, and the closing are always included.
Step 3 · Add your own experiences (all optional)
For each concern you chose, you can add a sentence or two about how it affects you personally. These carry extra weight — but feel free to leave any blank.
Step 4 · Your letter is ready
Submit it two ways below, then copy your title and letter into the right places.
The CEC docket only accepts comments through their web form — use the blue button, then paste your title and letter there. The email button opens a pre-addressed message to local decision-makers for you to paste your letter into.
